A microwave interferometry-based system for remote static and dynamic monitoring, the IBIS-FS interferometric radar is used for bridges and other structures, including buildings, historical monuments and towers.
In static mode, IBIS-FS is ideal for:
- Checking the load on the structure;
- The danger of displacement and decay of the structure;
- Preservation of cultural heritage.
In dynamic mode, IBIS-FS is best used for:
- Measurements of the resonance frequency of the structure;
- Analysis of the structural modal form.
In any state, IBIS-FS functions:
Remote sensing: real-time remote sensing at a distance of up to 1 km, without the need to install equipment in the monitored structure.
Accurate measurements: only 0,01 mm displacements in the 0,5 km range are measured. No standard instrument can achieve such accuracy.
Removal of ground vibrations: built-in accelerometer to cancel self-generated vibrations transmitted to radar from the ground (IBIS-FS Plus).
Sampling: Structural vibration sampling up to 200 Hz.
Always works: works day and night and in any weather.
The advantages of IBIS-FS include:
- Increased efficiency of structural health monitoring using a non-invasive vibration monitoring technique;
- Accurate and remote supervision of the bridge or structure;
- Reduces the time required to test a static or dynamic bridge structure to a few minutes;
- Real-time data on structural vibration and natural frequencies.
IBIS-FS is part of the IBIS family, providing reliable safety-critical radar surveillance systems capable of measuring submillimeter offset with the highest data quality. Meet other family products: IBIS ArcSAR Lite / Performance; IBIS-FB; IBIS-FM EVO; IBIS. FS Plus.
