New Artec Studio 18: Faster, AI-powered, color 3D scanning program certified for metrology
The world-renowned manufacturer and developer of professional 3D scanners and software, Artec 3D, has announced the release of Artec Studio 18 (AS18).
Each new version of the software improves the capabilities of Artec 3D scanners and the quality of the data they are able to capture. Artec Studio 18 is no exception and debuts unique features that allow users to seamlessly merge multi-resolution datasets from various Artec 3D scanners, process scanning data at record speeds, and create stunningly realistic color 3D models with the help of AI (artificial intelligence).
The industry’s first combination of different resolutions to create unique, feature-rich models
Combine 3D scanning data from different resolutions from any Artec device with Artec Studio Smart Fusion. Digitizing large areas or objects with Artec Ray II and getting fine details with Artec Leo before simultaneously recording data is now the fastest way to get full object scanning coverage.
Advanced artificial intelligence for sharp, unmatched realistic textures
Artec 3D has long been a leader in color capture, and Artec Studio 18 is expanding this tradition with AI (artificial intelligence) enhanced texture improvement. This new feature, which is based on decoding neural networks, provides much sharper patterns with improved color contrast. It also allows those who will use the new Artec Studio 18 program to drastically improve the overall resolution and quality of the texture.
