IDS GeoRadar Launches Hi-Sense
2023. In February, IDS GeoRadar, part of Hexagon, announced the new Hi-Sense algorithm for the Guardian, IDS GeoRadar’s powerful and user-friendly software for tilt monitoring. Hi-Sense is a new, state-of-the-art algorithm embedded in the Guardian’s software, improving the productivity of radar tilt monitoring.
Rapidly changing atmospheric conditions are the biggest challenge in monitoring slopes, and IDS GeoRadar was the first to introduce advanced management of atmospheric conditions to the mining market. Using the new Hi-Sense algorithm, the management of atmospheric conditions in slope radar monitoring is further improved to provide the most accurate view of slope displacements, even in difficult weather conditions.
With the new Hi-Sense algorithm, the effects of rapidly changing weather conditions, such as stormy weather, are processed in unparalleled accuracy, facilitating data interpretation and improving the productivity of monitoring radar slopes: less false positives and hypersensitivity to a wider range of motion trends.
Even in rapidly changing atmospheric conditions, Hi-Sense is able to support users by providing the most accurate display of data on radar maps, increasing the ability to predict instability and improving risk management in the process of radar monitoring of slopes.
