ACQUIRES MOBILE SCANNING MARKET LEADER GEOSLAM
2022. In September, FARO® Technologies, a global leader in 4D digital reality solutions, today announced the acquisition of UK-based GeoSLAM, a leading provider of mobile scanning solutions with proprietary high-productivity simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). The software is designed to create 3D models for use in Digital Twin applications. It is expected that 2012. the addition of geoSLAM, founded in the year, will significantly expand and accelerate the growth opportunities of the FARO market in the field of mobile scanning.
