New Reach firmware 30 improves Reach compatibility with other receivers and software
2023. In January Emlid unveils the Reach Firmware 30 update. This version focuses on the compatibility of Reach receivers with third-party equipment and performance improvements.
Emlid has added “jump seconds” to the data streamed by Reach receivers acting as a base station. This helps users seamlessly connect the Reach base to a wide range of third-party receivers via NTRIP. Now even the old versions of GNSS receivers are able to maintain a stable FIX connection when connected to the Reach base station.
In this version, Emlid introduces the updated responsive interface in the Emlid Flow app and the Reach Panel (browser version of the app). Emlid Flow now refreshes screen views. Although the Reach Panel has been completely redesigned, Emlid has created it according to the Emlid Flow interface, removed redundant tabs and added a special dark motif.
Please note that the Reach panel measurement tools are outdated in favour of Emlid Flow. So if you’re looking for the survey tools you’re familiar with, try Emlid’s revamped mobile app, Emlid Flow for iOS and Android.
